The Foundation Every Dimmable LED System Needs

LED strips, modules, and fixtures don't run directly from mains voltage — they need a driver to convert AC power to the constant-voltage DC output the LEDs require. And when smooth, flicker-free dimming is part of the installation brief, the driver has to support it correctly. Our dimmable LED power supplies are specified to handle the full range of commercial dimming protocols without buzzing, flickering, or dropout at low levels.

Dimming Protocol Compatibility

• Triac (Phase-Cut) dimming — compatible with standard residential dimmer switches

• ELV (Electronic Low Voltage) — preferred for modern LED dimmer controls

• MLV (Magnetic Low Voltage) — for installations with legacy dimmer infrastructure

Selecting the Right Driver

Match the driver output voltage to your LED strip or fixture specification (12V or 24V). For wattage, calculate the total wattage of the connected LED load and add a 20% safety margin — running a driver at 80% capacity instead of 100% extends its operational life significantly.
